This case study is an example of a client utilising TCM's 'Grounds Maintenance' services.
A large housing association has recently awarded TCM Ltd a significant grounds maintenance and communal areas cleaning contract which covers a large catchment area. As part of our ISO procedures we asked the client why TCM won the tender and they supplied the following reasons:
1. Improved service standards
2. Improved health and safety
3. Cost efficient service
4. Improved customer communication
5. Improved contract monitoring
6. Reduced administrative costs for client
The contract is running smoothly and TCM are able to deal with all the added problems that arise from the day to day running of large housing estates because we provide so many services in house. A typical example is that rubbish will accumulate in communal bin areas which will provide harbourage and a food source for rodents. Our grounds maintenance team will spot this and report it to the client who will in turn instruct TCM to remove all excess rubbish (land and property clearance division) and bait for rats (Pest control division). One senior member of staff has been made the one main point of contact and his mobile number has been circulated to tenants should there be any emergencies. There are monthly meetings held to discuss any ongoing projects or future needs.
